It’s been an eclectic few weeks in world of Quests… and a quite frankly bonkers time in the world generally. I hope you’re hanging on in there!

⏮️ Secondly: Quester Exchange: a look back
Thanks to all who attended our first every Quester Exchange session a couple weeks back with Hannah Singleman. Our new community-led workshop series.
We explored The Art of Asking Better Questions and how we might understand our own individual (and others) curiosity styles as way to create deeper connection and better understanding of each other.
In a world that feels so divided, intentional curiosity and better questions help us find common ground in the grey areas and empathy where we might disagree.

🎪 Thirdly: it’s Questival time!
Very excited to announce that we are bringing Creative Quests to Latitude festival this weekend! One of the biggest music and arts festivals in the UK.
I am currently on site - in the middle of a forest - having installed two Creative Quests cabins! With the trusty design support of my long time design collaborators May and Ella from The Highest Finca. This is our first non-digital collab!
What are we up to?!
We’ve designed a completely new Quest experience (and card game!) for festivals and events based on our Five Pathways framework - that gets people exploring their creativity and curiosity around the festival site, sparking connection wherever they go.
💭 Deep in the Faraway Forest there is cabin… curious festival goers will have the chance to step through a threshold into our Questy world and emerge with a creative challenge to fulfil over the weekend.
Festivals feel like home to me. I’ve been coming to them since I was 11 years old. The rules feel different on a festival site. The priority is pleasure. Music, friends, freedom.
Festivals are mass sites of play.
My mission this year was to diversify the ways we get people Questing beyond our flagship programme. Anyone that has done a Creative Quest knows that ‘beginner’s mind’ is an absolutely central part of the attitude we hope to instil in people.
Beginners Mind is a Zen Buddhist concept. It’s the idea that a beginner sees a situation for all it’s possibilities, where experts see few.
It is with a beginners mind that we launch this new CQ offering into the world. What if Creative Quests was a playful, interactive, immersive experience set in forest?
