What. A. Week. (so busy this is the first chance I’ve had to write this newsletter!)
The big news is: Our Kickstarter is live! We hit publish at 6pm on Tuesday and we are already at 35% of our funding target. We have until 3rd Dec to fly past our goal.

The Modern World Needs Magic
That’s what we learnt in putting this project together and what I hope that people take from the experience of the book.
This is not a book on Magic as you know it. If you’re looking for a box of tricks - this is not for you.
To explore Magic is to face the unknown. It’s to feel intimately connected to nature. It’s to pause and wonder. It’s to bring things to life. It’s to face things you don’t understand with curiosity over fear.
We believe that if more people believed in Magic - the world might genuinely be a better place.
The Quester’s Guide is a tool for exploring invisible things. The stuff we know but don’t really understand. It will help you connect to your friends, family and even strangers in new ways. It will guide you to discover beauty and strangeness in your surroundings.
A step by step process that moves from inspiration to action.
Our vision for this project is that we can release a new, themed edition of The Quester’s Guide every six months. We’re hoping this Kickstarter lays the foundations to make that possible.
Each issue inspired by the collective learnings of themes we’ve previously explored in our community programme. All co-produced by the folks who originally did that Quest. So in future… when you join our programme, you may just end up authoring a book too!
It’s a bit of an insane idea and logistical puzzle… but as one of our Questers said to me recently:
“Only do impossible things. They have an energy to them.”

Earlier this year I wrote a newsletter about the wonderful word from Ghana: ‘Sankofa’ and how it was shaping my thinking around Creative Quests this year.
Sankofa means ‘looking back to move forward’. The Quester’s Guide is this idea in action.
