💭 A thought from this week….

Dreaded questions. We all have them. The ones you change the conversation to avoid. The ones that leave you tongue tied or squirming out of their grasp as quickly as possible.

What do you do for work? How’s that project of yours going? How’s the family? and other such classics have a real habit of weighing heavy on us.

The truly annoying thing about dreaded questions is that they are usually the ones we most desire a better answer for. It’s not the question that we dread - it’s our response.

There has been a question I have legitimately feared over the last couple of years - and it might surprise you to hear what it is.

🗣 ‘What is Creative Quests?’ 😬

This question has sent shivers down my spine on countless occasions - for the simple reason that it is many things.

It’s a creative practice: based on the idea that spending a month absorbed in a theme will change your perception of the world around you and your creativity.

It’s a community: of people around the world, all exploring themes parallel to each other. Sharing in our learnings along the way.

It’s an experience: that we fill with delightful chances to explore and play alongside fellow Questers

It’s a way of being: that centres curiosity for alternative stories, embracing a beginners mindset and seeing playfulness as an act of resistance.

Most of all: it’s ever-evolving and the experience will be different for every Quester. Intentionally so.

But today… I think I got the closest to describing Creative Quests in a sentence that I have ever gotten and IT FEELS GOOD.

Drum roll please… 🥁🥁🥁

Creative Quests is a collective experience that expands creative potential, remixes inspiration and gives you a framework to fill your life with illuminating new perspectives on the world around you... one theme at a time.
